Performance event at closing of 'Celebrate' at Percolate Art Space. I did free quick portraits for anybody that wanted them. It was a challenging experience, bringing typically private artistic practices into a public space. The models were not used to sitting still for extended periods of time in many cases. The intent was originally to create a fun and interesting spectacle to the closing of the event. However, as a performance piece, some aspects of public scrutiny, voyeurism, narcissism and meditation are brought to light.
