This painting uses a form that emerges a lot in drawings, paintings and all kinds of stuff. It happens spontaneously. It's the blob with a stem. It can become a brain connected to the nervous system, or a cell with a flagellum or all kinds of other stuff - a thought bubble. It's a form that seems to be part of my psyche. Blob with stick - it's also how mechanical parts are made. It never began, and it might never end...
