This started with other intentions. But I realized, I have been working with plaster most of my life. It's a material I know and can develop forms with rather readily. But it's naturally beautiful and can be worked with relative ease. The color and texture relationships that come from using it with other simple materials are intriguing. I have this posted as a work here, as a reminder to always be open to new possibilities. This is necessary as it seems to be thought that the creative journey has to consistently narrow. Maybe it does need to narrow, but it doesn't have to do it consistently, does it?
