This painting depicts a polluted landscape. The words "from the river, the sky" and "from the sky, the river" are repeated throughout. The switching of words is an obvious adaptation of a device used by Bruce Nauman, but it's effective. It talks about the cyclic nature of precipitation. Everything, however, looks acidic here.
