This is a small interactive sculpture. It's a perversion of those small, desk/office toys you might see at stores in a shopping mall (think, clacking balls, zen garden and so on). This one might ask you to think about the origins of certain mysterious white powder epidemics (opioids, cocaine, crack, heroin, fentanyl). You can shovel the powder into a small bin over the executive's empty head. Then, push the button and watch it deposit its powdery glory everywhere. The architectonic forms resemble a concrete batching plant, a little bit. It's almost like executives need some kind of semblance or fantasy version of the realities they're imposing on the rest of us. It's not unrealistic to suppose there would be a "black lung" board game, being played at the country club somewhere.
