This image began with a photograph that I took while at the beach. I was interested in the colors that happen there. The tone of the sand and the bluish water, with the added bright colors of things people bring there, are always engaging. Those people always end up in these photos. However, it looks like I'm taking pictures of them. They end up in my photographs, but it's not my original intent. So, it's as if I'm invading their privacy, which is absurd since we're in a public place. But it is like I'm spying on them. In this one, it looks like the psychological space inhabited by the two women talking is contained in a different area than the child playing. I think there's a question of who is invading who's space. I was more interested in the big blue field and some sand architecture, though.
